Things went downhill quickly during the latest episode of A Place in the Sun, as a couple cut their house viewing short.

Presenter Jean Johansson was back for another episode on Wednesday (November 13), helping Richard and Rooman find the perfect villa in Fuengirola, Spain. The house hunters had a healthy budget of £130,000 and were looking for a stunning two-bedroom property.

Things got off to a rocky start when the first property on Jean's list failed to appease the particular pair. When Jean tried to cater to Rooman and Richard's outgoing nature by showcasing an apartment in the centre of town, things didn't go as planned.

From the outside, Rooman quickly confessed he did not like the communal swimming pool. When entering the property, both Rooman and Richard failed to hold back their disdain.

As things continued to go terribly, Jean said: "I can put my hands up when I've got something wrong." Rooman and Richard appeared to agree.

Sharing their thoughts on the apartment, the pair said it "doesn't feel like a holiday home" but more like a place you would only occupy for a short stay. Rooman and Richard did not want to see any more of what was on offer and decided to walk out of the viewing.

After witnessing the awkward scene unfold on screen, fans headed straight to social media platform X to share their opinions on Rooman and Richard's brutal reaction. One viewer said: "Jean not happy... look at her face!"

Another penned: "They seem to want more than their budget can buy." A third shared: "FFS this pair are hard work." While a fourth added: "Jean will be fewwmin soon." (sic)

But despite the negativity, Jean managed to turn things around. The last property on her list appeared to be a hit for Rooman and Richard, so much so that they decided to put an offer down.

At the end of the show, Jean revealed that Rooman and Richard's offer was accepted, leaving the pair delighted. Fans headed back to X to share their reactions.

One fan wrote: "Surprised they brought. Hope they enjoy their new holiday home." While another watcher penned: "I'm so happy for them."
