Content Editor Melisha Kaur popped into her local M&S recently to check out the new offerings - which include dazzling dresses, show-stopping blouses and timeless knitwear.

The first thing that caught my eye at M&S was this Sequin V-Neck Blouse, £45, which is already selling fast. The gorgeous top has both petite and regular sizes available, but you'll need to be quick as many are sold out. Choose from ivory or black.

My favourite part about this sparkly blouse is the bow details that add an elegant touch. The glamorous style comes in a regular fit with a V-neckline, while its lightweight fabric has a hint of stretch, to keep you comfortable.

Looking for the perfect sequin dress for party season? This stunning M&S Collection option is sure to earn you style points at any occasion, costing £79. With a square neckline, the silver shift mini is designed to give you a "retro flapper-inspired look". It's covered in sequins and tassels - which I saw some customers swooning over in-store.

Keeping warm in style will be a piece of cake with so many cosy tops to choose from at M&S. My favourites from the retailer's Christmas shop were this Red Roll Neck Jumper, £29.50, and White Sparkly Sweatshirt, £35. Both of these pair perfectly with jeans or trousers, making them ideal for the office.

Reviews have been pouring in for the ribbed jumper online, with one happy M&S customer saying: "I bought this in red and it’s a lovely colour. True to size but quite roomy. Will be great for the colder weather." A second said: "Have it in two colours, fits well, great length."

But someone else was less impressed, adding: "Great jumper was what I was looking for but very disappointed with the fabric as it bobbles." While another wrote: "Had to return as the neck line had too much fabric."

Other glamorous pieces I spotted during my recent visit to M&S include this Sequin Regular Fit Top, £45, and Vinyl Knee Length A-Line Skirt which costs £35. You can check out the high street favourite's full Christmas shop offerings, here.

Roman Originals also has some fabulous party picks available, including this Magenta Sequin Cowl Neck Maxi Stretch Dress, £80. River Island's Christmas shop has opened and we're loving this Beige Bardot Bow Jumper - which is currently 'trending' and costs £45.
